The blistering Kogot-7 SMG joined Black Ops 7’s arsenal with the Season 1 update, and it has already turned plenty of heads in the multiplayer. While the compact weapon isn’t the absolute meta by any means, it’s still great at decimating enemies up close, perfect for players who enjoy running and gunning. As is the case with most guns, you’ll need to pair the SMG with its meta attachments to get the most out of it. With this in mind, here’s the best Kogot-7 loadout in Black Ops 7.
Best Black Ops 7 Kogot-7 Loadout
- Muzzle: SWF Tishina-11
- Underbarrel: VAS Drift Lock Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Balter Control Grip
- Magazine: Fortune Extended Mag
- Laser: 3MW Motion Strike Laser
Black Ops 7’s Kogot-7 can seem really unwieldy at first, but with these attachments applied, the weapon’s qualities really begin to shine. Not only are you getting an insane fire rate of 952 RPM that’s relatively manageable, but its TTK also stands out at 252ms within 20 meters. Coupled with its excellent mobility, the SMG is a joy to run and gun with, especially on smaller maps such as Raid, Nuketown, and Paranoia.
Our meta attachment picks start with the SWF-Tishina 11 Muzzle, which stabilizes recoil and hides your fire ping on the enemy’s mini-map. Next is the VAS Drift Foregrip, which improves horizontal recoil and decreases the fire sway of the SMG. Pair this with the Balter Control Grip, and you’ve got a pretty stable weapon – all things considered. It’ll still have a mean first shot kick, but the subsequent spray should be precise.
Rounding out our picks is the 3MW Motion Strike Laser to tighten up the recoil even further. And finally, the Fortune Extended Mag, which is a must since the Kogot-7 chews through bullets at an unsustainable rate.
Best Black Ops 7 Kogot-7 Class Setup
As mentioned at the start, the Kogot-7 isn’t landing on any Black Ops 7 meta weapons lists. The Dravec 45 and the Ryden 45K are still ahead in the pecking order. But if you enjoy that aggressive run-and-gun playstyle, then the Kogot-7 is well worth a look. We’d even recommend pairing it with the Akita Shotgun if you want to be a downright menace.
- Perk 1: Lightweight
- Perk 2: Fast Hands
- Perk 3: Dexterity
- Additional Perk: Ghost
- Wildcard: Perk Greed
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Field Upgrade: Drone Pod/Echo Unit
Our meta Kogot-7 class setup features the very best Perks in the game, starting with Lightweight. The Perk offers a nice bump to movement speed, which gels seamlessly with the SMG’s qualities. Next is Fast Hands, which buffs reload and weapon swap speeds. Dexterity takes the third slot since it’s downright essential for seamless movement in Black Ops 7. Lastly, Ghost, which renders you invisible to enemy equipment, takes up the Perk Greed slot.
Equipment can boil down to personal preference, but the Semtex and Stim Shot combo is as reliable as things can get. Finally, the Drone Pod is easily the most annoyingly effective Field Upgrade in the game, but if you enjoy bamboozling enemies, then give the Echo Unit a shot.
And that is everything you need to know about the best Kogot-7 class in Black Ops 7. What do you make of the Season 1 SMG? Let us know in the comments.

No, the Kogot-7 isn’t a meta weapon just yet, with both the Dravec 45 and Ryden 45K outperforming the SMG when it comes to TTK.
