When it comes to parody shows, we have seen some remarkable ones recently like The Boys, however, if you are more of a spy content person, Archer is just the show for you. Archer is a parody of James Bond and is a totally unhinged and fun show. This show is full of international super spy action and some heavy notes of dark humor. It has some amazing cast members. So, let’s have a look at Archer cast and characters appearing in the TV show.
1. H. Jon Benjamin as Sterling Archer
With inspiration drawn from James Bond, H. Jon Benjamin appears in the role of Archer, a morally ambiguous super spy around whom the entire show revolves. Archer has an enhanced level of neurodiversity and also a really bad case of tinnitus. Archer serves as a rather ironic take on secret agents as even though he claims that he is the greatest secret agent in the world, he fails to make this fact a secret since he is constantly bragging about it.
2. Jessica Walter as Malory Archer
Jessica Walter appears in the role of Malory Archer, our protagonist Archor’s mother and the leader of ISIS, not the bad one but the International Secret Intelligence Service. Malory is like the parody of M from the James Bond Series who was the head of MI6. However, she is often seen misusing her power and has been abusive towards Archer since he was a young boy.
3. Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane
Lana Kane is also a member of ISIS and is one of the most dedicated and logical agents in the agency. Played by Aisha Tyler Lana is the total opposite of Archer but has had an on-and-off relationship with him. Archer constantly annoys Kane in the series and has served a part in a lot of comedy by Archer. The most common instance is Archer yelling out her name constantly until he annoys her into responding.
4. Judy Greer as Cheryl Tunt
Cheryl Tunt played by Judy Greer is one of the most unhinged characters in the Archer series. She was initially introduced to us as Malory Archer’s incompetent assistant but later on, it was revealed that she is the sole heir to the massive fortune of of the Tunts. She only works for ISIS so that she can pass her time and does not have a massive commitment to the organization.
5. Amber Nash as Pam Poovey
Pam Poovey is the Human Resource representative of ISIS and does not have a single filter between what she thinks and what she speaks. Played by Amber Nash, Pam Poovey has a really foul mouth and even though she is an HR she can stand her ground in a fight. However, she is bad-mouthed and lethal, she does have a soft side to herself which we see sometimes with her kind gestures.
6. Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis
Cyril Figgs is the accountant for the spy agency and is often the victim of the pranks carried out by Archer resulting in a massive rivalry between the two characters. Played by Chris Parnell, Friggs has also been in romantic relationships with other show members like Cheryl and Lana. By the end of the show, he also becomes a field agent.
7. Adam Reed as Ray Gillette
Ray Gillette is one of the most competent agents in the workforce of ISIS, even though he is often the victim of a lot of leg pulling, he is great at what he does. Played by Adam Reed, Gillette is a wiring and explosives expert, and since he is earnest about his job he is a good friend of Lana as well. Ray goes through a lot of stuff in the show and even gets paralyzed after being hit with a bullet in his spine.
8. Dave Willis as Barry Dylan
Barry Dylan has been the antagonist of Archer for quite some time. Initially, he was introduced to us as a spy working for the Organization of Democratic Intelligence Networks (ODIN) which is the rival agency of ISIS. Eventually, he fights against Archer and gets fatally injured but is later brought back to life as a cyborg. After he is resurrected, he joins the KGB and becomes the arc nemesis of Archer. However, by the end of the series, they develop a strange friendship.
9. Lucky Yates as Dr. Krieger
Dr. Krieger is a truly twisted scientist working for ISIS and has absolutely no regard for human life. Played by Lucky Yates, Dr. Krieger is the head of the applied research department at the spy agency. There have been multiple accounts where he had experimented on his fellow spies as well. However, that is not even the craziest part, later on in the series it is revealed that Dr Krieger is a clone of Adolf Hitler.
