Arcane is one of those animated shows on Netflix that can never disappoint the fandom. With the first season, the League of Legends-based animated series accumulated huge praise for impeccable storytelling, animation, and character development. Now that after three years, Arcane’s season 2 premiered with its first act on November 9, 2024, fans can’t wait to experience the next act. While everyone awaits the next chapter curiously, the recently released sneak peek trailer of Act 2 makes fans more curious about the upcoming events in the Piltover vs Zaun war.
Arcane Season 2 Act 1 featured several events that shocked the fanatics. For instance, Viktor’s transformation, Viktor and Jayce parting ways, Vi joining Caitlyn’s Strike team wearing the decorated Enforcer uniform, and more.
Well, things will be even more intriguing in the further acts; that’s what the sneak peek trailer of Season 2 Act 2 hints at by confirming a time jump.

The trailer for Season 2 Act 2 makes us realize that time has moved forward by giving Vi, Jayce, and every character a makeover. Warwick also finally makes it to our big screens. Vi is now flaunting an emo look with black paint on her face and her hair has also grown longer. They aren’t red anymore too.
On the other hand, we can see Jayce flaunting a beard. It’s likely that he, along with Ekko and Heimerdinger, are stuck in another dimension. They must have spent a lot of time in the dimension. That’s why Jayce now has a beard, and Ekko’s picture is on the graffiti memorial wall (people likely think he died because they can’t find him). Also, it’s hard to ignore Caitlyn, who now looks more like a dictator – mature and terrifying; a look suitable for a Warlord.
The trailer also shows Sevika standing before Vander’s statue and saying, “We have lost so many.” We also see Ambessa moving towards her mission against Zaun and especially Jinx. Sevika’s voice is also heard saying that Silco has fought his entire life for Zaun, and now it’s Jinx’s turn to take the mantle and fight for the Zaunites.
The color palette that appears when Vi stands in front of Warwick makes us recall the time when the orphaned girls first met Vander during the uprising of Piltover at the beginning of Season 1.
