How to Get Essence in The Forge

The only way to get an essence is by killing enemies in The Forge. The type of essence you obtain depends on the tier of the enemy. Higher-tier enemies drop rarer essence, and lower-tier enemies drop common essence. For example, elite enemies like Skeleton Rogues, Reapers, and Fire Slime and Death Axes drop Medium to Epic essence.

One of the best locations to farm essence is the Volcanic Depths. Stonewakes Cross can be an option for beginners, as the enemies are very basic, but they give tiny and small essence. Skeleton Rogues in Forgotten Kingdom drop medium essence consistently. However, the enemies of Volcanic Depths are of a higher tier, and so they drop rarer essences. You can also unlock the Goblin Cave and find late-game enemies that drop more essence.

You can equip a Drain Edge Rune for life steal and a Minor Shard for extra essence loot. Also, try to take part in night raids as they drop twice the loot. Make sure to also use the Forge codes to get better races and totems.

How to Use Essence in The Forge
