Written by Haro Aso, Alice in Borderland was serialized from November 2010 to March 2015 in Shogakukan’s shōnen manga magazine. The manga blessed us with one of the most intriguing survival game stories of all time. Alice in Borderland keeps on throwing some of the unexpected twists and turns at us, particularly in the end, where every reader gets perplexed. So, if you don’t remember how the manga concluded, you’ve arrived at the right place. We have explained Alice in Borderland manga ending below in detail.
Arisu Wins the Final Game in Alice in Borderland

The final moments of Alice in Borderland see Arisu confronting Mira, the Queen of Hearts. This wasn’t similar to the games that Arisu and his friends played from the beginning. In fact, this was a game where Arisu had to stay strong while Mira tried to manipulate him and provoke him to quit the game. Mira starts feeding Arisu conflicting explanations about Borderland. She says What if it’s just an imagination and nothing more. However, Arisu continued to ignore her and concentrate on the third round of the croquet match instead.
Arisu won the match and ended the trials of the Borderlands. His win also sets the stage for the survivors’ ultimate choice: return to the Real World or remain in the Borderlands as permanent residents. Banda and Yaba, who entered the game in Jacks of Hearts, accept permanent residency, while Arisu, Usagi, Chishiya, Kuina, Niragi, and Heiya decide to return.
Before returning to the real world, Arisu also met a mysterious entity, whom he believed to be the mastermind behind the Borderland. The entity carrying a Joker Card reveals himself to be the ferryman, who guides souls between life and death.
Following that, the next panel takes us to Shibuya, where the tragic incident happened, and we get to see an injured Arisu. Later, our beloved characters wake up in the hospital with not even a single memory of the Borderlands. Arisu and Usagi meet in the hospital, but they can’t recognize each other. However, they do feel a strange connection.
The final chapter of Alice in Borderland, titled “Day of Restitution,” takes place two years after everyone’s arrival in the real world from Borderland. A few reporters ask random people about their purpose in life. They also interview Arisu, but he gets interrupted by a call, possibly from Usagi.
