Games Releasing in August 2024
As of now, Black Myth: Wukong, an action-adventure soul-like based on the Chinese mythological character Wukong, will launch on August 20, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
The PlayStation-exclusive online shooter Concord will also launch for PC and PS5 on August 20, 2024. Ubisoft Massive’s Star Wars: Outlaws will launch on August 30, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

While September 2023 was the month that kicked off the end-of-year launches, it seems developers aren’t yet geared up for September 2024. GSC-developed STALKER 2 gets delayed from September, while the long-anticipated third-person action-adventure sequel to Space Marines is still on track with its release. We are also getting a remake of the cult-classic RTS Age of Mythology by Microsoft. Frostpunk delayed its launch and prepared itself to launch on September 20.

October will welcome Metaphor: ReFantazio, the first original JRPG by ATLUS and SEGA. This will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 11, 2024. Furthermore, October 2024 welcomes Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the next entry in the long-running first-person shooter.
