After being leaked several times over the past few months, we knew that Xiaomi will release a Mi A2 phone, or an Android One follow-up to the Mi A1. And now we also have word of a Mi A2 Lite.

The Android One smartphone has been listed on Polish retailer X-kom and shows off the phone and its full specs, which make for a very familiar reading if you have been following Xiaomi devices over the past year. First things first, the Mi A2 Lite will have a notch on the front, and sizeable chin to go along with it.

On a very familiar note, the Mi A2 Lite will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset, and will have at least 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage internally. The phone is expected to feature a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The time in the renders listed on the site show 8:16, which could be hinting at a August 16 launch date for the phone.

In terms of cameras, the phone will have two sensors on the back in a 12 MP and 5 MP configuration with both lens being f/2.2 aperture. On the front is a 5 megapixel camera with a f/2.0 lens.

It will have the standard connectivity options such as 4G (dual SIM), Wi-FI and Bluetooth, while charging is possible through a micro USB port. The battery is listed as being a 4000 mAh Lithium-Polymer unit, but there’s no mention of usage time or talk time in the listing.

While the retailer listing seems to show the device as official, the Mi A2 Lite has not yet been announced or teased by Xiaomi. The final specifications of the phone are likely to change but they seem on point to us in terms of what to expect in a ‘Lite’ version of the Mi A2.
