Warzone Season 4 is en route, bringing new weapons, map changes, LTMs, operator skins, and more to the Battle Royale title. The ongoing Season 3 saw the return of Verdansk, which immediately made it one of the most popular seasonal updates in the game’s history. This was followed up by the mid-season Reloaded update, which reintroduced Warzone Ranked, further bolstering the amount of content in Season 3. The onus is now on Activision to somehow take things up a notch with Season 4. And while you wait for official details, check out our guide on everything to know about Warzone Season 4 so far, including a look at leaks and rumors.
Warzone Season 4 Release Date
Warzone Season 4 will be released on Thursday, May 29, 2025. As usual, the Battle Pass timer gave the release date away, which was recently confirmed by the official Call of Duty X account as well. New seasonal updates usually kick off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.
Warzone Season 4 Expected Content
Activision is yet to drop the official Warzone Season 4 content blog, meaning we’ll have to rely on teasers and data-mined details to piece together the upcoming content. With that being said, some crucial new inclusions, such as weapons, have been all but confirmed. On that note, here’s an early glimpse of what’s in store:
New Weapons

- FFAR
- LC10
- Olympia
- Revolver
- Brass Knuckles
The FFAR and LC10 from Black Ops: Cold War briefly appeared in the Black Ops 6 Season 3 outro cinematic. Naturally, both weapons will likely return in Season 4, with the LC10 packing the most potential to disrupt the SMG meta.
Next up is the Olympia, a classic double-barrel shotgun that is set to make its return, according to information from data miners. According to a leaker named Reality, the same goes for a six-shooter known only as the ‘Revolver.’ Regarding melee weapons, leakers have suggested that the Brass Knuckles and a Pickaxe will be hitting the streets and high-rise buildings of Verdansk in Season 4.
Map Changes
Warzone Season 4 is bound to introduce some changes to Verdansk, be it as part of LTMs or minor tweaks to POIs. Speaking of which, rumors about the Stadium’s roof opening up were doing the rounds a couple of months ago. This change may be implemented in Season 4. With that being said, nothing has been confirmed as of now, and we’ll be sure to update this section once new information arrives.
Stitch Returns
Stitch has returned to haunt Verdansk once again. This was initially confirmed in the Season 3 outro cinematic before the Season 4 key art cleared up any remaining doubts. The ex-KGB agent will be available as an operator in Warzone, but he appears to be siding with the Rogue Black Ops team on this occasion.
According to data miners, three more operators are set to arrive alongside Stitch. While their identities remain unknown, their in-game codenames are ‘corgi,’ ‘doberman,’ and ‘poodle.’
While that wraps up everything we know about Warzone Season 4 so far, you can almost certainly look forward to a new Battle Pass, fresh LTMs, and a host of weapon balancing changes. While you wait for new details, let us know what you hope to see in Season 4 in the comments below.
