Yellow Heart on Snapchat: What Does it Mean?

Yellow Heart Emoji location on Snapchat

If you find a yellow heart (💛) underneath someone’s profile picture on your Snapchat, it means you have something special going on with this person. Simply put, this person is your number one best friend on Snapchat and the one you have the most interactions with. But, how is it different from the red heart (❤️) and pink heart (💕) emojis then?

When it comes to the red heart emoji on Snapchat, it can be obtained by sending over snaps to a particular contact for two weeks straight. However, do note that the other person has to do the same. Else, even though that person will be your best friend, you won’t be their best friend. That will prevent you from getting your hands on a red heart. The same thing goes for the pink hearts too. The difference is that you will have to consistently send each other snaps for two months straight to see the pink hearts emoji.

Meanwhile, the yellow heart is a bit more special and can only be obtained if you regularly have an active two-way snap session with each other. So, Yellow Heart is the most precious heart emoji you can obtain on Snapchat.

How to Get Yellow Heart Emoji on Snapchat

To get the yellow heart emoji on Snapchat, as mentioned before, you will need to consistently send each other snaps. However, do note that there is no workaround as Snapchat determines your friendship level on the basis of snaps only (images and videos), and not text. Once you have exchanged enough snaps, the yellow heart emoji will appear beside the Snapchat Planets icon when you visit your friend’s profile on the app. So, you both have to maintain not just a solid streak level, but also actively interact via snaps to make it happen.
