updated: last updated Anime Saga tier list on May 14, 2025, with the launch of the game

A brand new anime-style game, called Anime Saga, has been released on Roblox and is packed with action. You can roll random units and have a chance to unlock some of the rarest and most powerful anime characters. With a formidable team, you can then head into the battlefield and defeat waves of enemies using cool attacks and combos. However, with a variety of powerful units, choosing the best can quickly become difficult. Fear not, as we have ranked all characters in our Anime Saga tier list to help you pick out the best units with ease.

Anime Saga Tier List: All Units Ranked

Anime Saga features a small group of units as it’s just the beginning of a fantastic action experience with some popular anime characters.

As such, our tier list has the rarest and most dominant units in S-Tier. Moving down the list, it is obvious that the units become less valuable and less preferable once you’ve leveled up. With that, here’s our Anime Saga tier list:

  • S-tier: Frierin, Zid, Chainsaw, Rohan, Zoru
  • A-tier: Doma, Okorun, Inos, Mochi, Agony
  • B-tier: Vogita, Nezu, Sake
  • C-tier: Sanjo, Ichigan, Itaduro, Tanjigo
  • D-tier: Roku, Usoap, Noroto, Luffo

With the tier list at an overview above, let’s talk about the best Anime Saga units in more detail.

Anime Saga S-Tier Units

This is the top-most tier and hence consists of some of the best units in the whole game. These can deal much damage, with less cooldown and best-in-class combos. Among all units in this class, Frierin and Zid stand out due to their good moves and AoE attacks. Furthermore, Zoru and Rohan belong in this category because of their special moves, such as the two-sword style Onigiri and the super Kamehameha.

Anime Saga A-Tier Units

Next up is the A-Tier, which also has some pretty cool units. However, these seem to lack a bit in their moves and stats, and hence could not be placed higher. This includes the two Mythics, Doma and Okarun, who have good crowd controlling capabilities, but you can always use Rohan and Zoru since they perform better in this aspect. Finally, Inos, Mochi, and Agony have similar crowd-controlling moves that can help you deal damage to hordes of enemies together.

Anime Saga B-Tier Units

Coming to the B-Tier or the average category, we have only three units – Vogita, Nezu, and Sake, each with their unique powers. Vogita is simply a weaker Rohan and is good with beam attacks. On the other hand, Nezu has an excellent combo move that can swiftly defeat enemies at the early stages. Lastly, Sake is the only unit in Anime Saga who has electric attacks that can stun enemies and thus help as a support.

Anime Saga C-Tier Units

Now, in the C-Tier, we have a few Epic and Rare characters that you can surely unlock early in the game. In my experience, characters in this category and below are only helpful at the early stages. While Sanjo and Tanjigo can help in crowd controlling enemies, Ichigan and Itaduro have high-scaling attacks that can knock players out in a second.

Anime Saga D-Tier Units

Down to the D-Tier in our Anime Saga tier list, we have some of the worst units in the game. Among all, Roku might be the best one due to his superb Kamehameha move and barrage attacks. However, other units like Usoap, Noroto, and Luffo don’t have enough damage output and higher cooldowns. Hence, we recommend rolling for other higher-tier units as soon as possible.

And that ends our Anime Saga tier list. So, which character is your favorite, and what helps you take down the most enemies in the game? Let us know in the comments below!
