With the launch of its Redmi Note 5/ Note 5 Pro lineup in India, Xiaomi has certainly rocked the mid-range smartphone market. There’s no dearth of eager consumers, who’re planning to buy either of the two models, however, the Chinese giant is unable to satiate the hunger for their affordable, but specced-out offering.
Taking into account the immense public demand for the new Redmi Note series, Xiaomi’s Global VP Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted that they’re holding a second flash sale (for this week) at 12:00 noon today. The Chinese giant had just conducted a flash sale for Redmi Note 5 lineup on March 14, i.e. a couple days ago, and now it is back with another one. There’s, however, a slight confusion regarding this sale.
Mi Fans! We are listening to you.
We understand that some of you guys have faced issue in buying #RedmiNote5 due to very high demand. We're trying to increase the supply and have decided to have the 2nd sale (in a week) today. 12 noon 🕛 on https://t.co/lzFXOcGyGQ & @Flipkart. pic.twitter.com/NlNvVhmhy5

As you can see in the tweet above, Manu Jain suggests that it’s only the Redmi Note 5 that’ll be up for sale on Flipkart and Mi.com this afternoon. There’s no word from him on the more popular Redmi Note 5 Pro though. The Redmi Note 5 is already easier to buy on flash sale days when compared to the 5 Po, which boasts of stunning dual rear cameras and some neat AI features.
This has caused tremendous confusion among the Mi fan community and they’ve all flocked to Twitter to express their concern with this second flash sale in the same week. Here are a few reactions:
Sir, as Flipkart says if there note 5 pro sale then why didn't u talk about that? Really confused sir….
U say redmi note 5 sale, FK says both 5 and 5 pro? pic.twitter.com/QkFMADPST9— Anas Cherkala (@anascherkala) March 16, 2018

Flipkart’s support team has confirmed in a tweet that the ‘Redmi Note 5 Pro’ will be in stock as well. But, as always, there’s no info on the number of available pieces in stock, so you can expect the flash sale to end in a matter of seconds.
Be assured, the Redmi Note 5 Pro sale is today at 12 noon. Stay tuned!
