- Chained Together offers a single-player mode despite being a co-op game.
- Players can do the obstacle run in the Training mode that comes as a solo mode by default.
- Alternatively, players can host a private lobby and start a Chained Together session alone.
If you have already wreaked havoc with friends in co-op mode in the newest viral game, Chained Together, maybe it’s time for a solo challenge. The developers have made sure that even friendless folks can enjoy the game. So, if you wish to learn how to play Chained Together solo, we have two methods in this guide for you.
Although Chained Together is all about the co-op experience, you can play it alone. Here are the two ways to play the game solo and try to beat the game on your own.
1. Host a Private Game Lobby
The first way to play the game in single-player mode is by hosting a game without inviting friends in the lobby. This will let you play the game alone without having any interference. You can even choose to change the difficulty from the menu.
To host a private lobby in Chained Together to play solo, follow the steps below:
- Launch the game and go to the play menu.
- Select the “Host a Game” option.
- Type a password and click Create Session.
2. Play Solo with Training Mode
If you don’t want to host a lobby and want to get a feel of how the game plays solo, there is also a training mode. To start the training mode, follow the steps below:
- Launch the game and go to the play menu.
- Select the Training Mode (Solo) option.
- Choose difficulty from the mode dropout.
- Click the Play button to enjoy Chained Together solo.
Chained Together’s solo mode offers a distinct and not-as-fun experience compared to co-op. Freed from movement coordination and weight imbalances (present with other players), solo play should be a more streamlined adventure.
