Yes, there McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T doesn’t necessarily bring anything new to the table in terms of the specs except for the fact that it has 10GB RAM. However, OnePlus has introduced a new charging standard called Warp Charge 30.
Warp Charge 30
Since the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is all about its speed, the company has announced a new charging standard with the phone called Warp Charge 30. According to OnePlus, the Warp Charge 30 can offer a day’s charge in just 20 minutes of charging. ’30’ in the name comes from the 30W rated power output of the charger. OnePlus says the charging won’t slow down even while the phone is being used.
As far as I can tell, this new standard won’t be supported by the existing OnePlus 6T variants, as there are integrated circuits in both the charger and the phone that support the Warp Charge 30.
Inside the box, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be accompanied by McLaren’s logo recreated in McLaren-designed F1 AA grade carbon fiber material.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be launched in India on December 12, and the price for the special edition is expected to be over Rs 45,000, though we will hear the final price by tomorrow.
