List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on May 8

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

I refreshed today’s Strands quite a few times to ensure that it’s not a glitch. It was then that I noticed the absence of space between the dig and it. I didn’t get it honestly, and accidentally stumbled upon WHOLE. Then, I found LUCKY right beside it and BINARY at the leftmost corner in the same line. On top of it, I found NUMBERS as the Spangram, and let out a big “oh!”.

At the top right of the Spangram, I found TELEPHONE and SERIAL right underneath. However, after this, I felt I met the end of my wits and had to use a hint to get BACON, which I Googled to realize that I’d have never gotten it. The last few grids gave me DANCE and that concluded my May 8 NYT Strands for the day. Well, we ended up using just that one hint.
