List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on May 28
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- WHISTLE
- CHIRP
- SCREECH
- CLUCK
- TRILL
- WARBLE
While my mind was trying to find social media terms, I accidentally stumbled upon TWEET at the top. Right beside it, there was WHISTLE, and I still didn’t get what the theme was about. However, finding CHIRP at the bottom left cleared it all out, and I found BIRDSONG as the Spangram right after.
Next, I found SCREECH at the top left. Right under the Spangram at the bottom left, there was WARBLE and beside it, TRILL. The last couple of grids gave me CLUCK, and I called it a day.
Didn’t have to use any hints, yet again! What about you though? Was it too easy for you or did you end up using hints? Do cry your heart out in the comments down below!
