It was different though and definitely followed a rather modern form of expression, which was creative. As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is “✨🔥🌹💀🤩👀💐”. Yes, you read that right. This is the first time we’re seeing something like this, and I’m all for it!
Spangram Hint for Today’s Strands

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is – “Pictograms!”.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

When I first started looking for words these emoticons symbolized, I did second guess myself for thinking it to be too easy. However, it was, for I instantly found ROSE, SKULL, and EYES in the leftmost grids. At the bottom right, I found SPARKLES and right beside it, there was FIRE.
Running through the center, I found EMOJIS (of course, major facepalm moment) as the Spangram for the day, and at the top right of it, I found BOUQUET and STRARSTRUCK easily. That concluded my Strands today and well, I didn’t have to use any hints either. One of my fastest solves for sure.
