After last day’s disastrous solve, I certainly prayed for the Strands today to take it easy on me. Good for me, it didn’t land a hard blow, and I found it to be fairly easy. Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is – “Flying around Earth”.
Theme Words Hints for Today’s Strands
If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

Spangram Answer for NYT Strands on May 10
The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is SPACEFLIGHT, and it runs from top to bottom on the letters grid.

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- ORBIT
- LAUNCH
- REENTRY
- ENCOUNTER
- SPLASHDOWN
Well, the theme was a big hint in itself and helped me find ORBIT in the bottom right. A little more looking gave me LAUNCH in the leftmost grids at the top. Right under it was SPLASHDOWN, which wasn’t hard to find either.
In the middle, I found REENTRY trying not to enter my vision. Finally, the top right grids housed ENCOUNTER, which ultimately led me straight to finding SPACEFLIGHT as the Spangram for the day.
