Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is – “Single word for heap of people“.
Theme Words Hints for Today’s Strands
If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

The Spangram for today’s NYT Strands puzzle is DOGPILE, and it runs from left to right on the letters grid.

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- HUSKY
- HOUND
- BOXER
- COLLIE
- BEAGLE

- SHEPHERD
If you’re unaware, every year, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is held in New York, and a dog breed is crowned as Best in Show, which is what the theme today means. While I didn’t know about this before, finding HUSKY, BOXER and HOUND right at the top made me realize what the Strands today was about.
Soon, I found BEAGLE at the bottom right and COLLIE at the bottom left. In the middle of these two words was POODLE. At the leftmost grids, I found SHEPHERD and that led me to DOGPILE as the left-to-right Spangram for the day.
