List of Theme Words for NYT Strands on April 20
If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
- TRUDGE
- STROLL
- SAUNT
- TREK
- STRUT
- MARCH
- AMBLE
The theme made me think of brisk walking for some reason, and when I found STROLL, I realized I wasn’t that far off. Soon, I found MARCH, TREK and STRUT as well. However, after this, my mind was hit by a vocabulary block.
After quite a few minutes of searching I used the hint to get TRUDGE in the bottom right. Then, I found SAUNTER, and accidentally stumbled upon AMBLE as well. That made me find PEDESTRIAN as the left to right Spangram for the day. With that, I was done with today’s puzzle.
Had to use that one hint, sadly. What about you? Did you have to use any hints or was the round today easy enough for you? Let me know in the comments down below!
