NYT Strands Today – Hints, Answers & Spangram for June 30

The start of today’s Strands puzzle was quick and easy since I found RUBY and SAPPHIRE at the top of the letters grid right away. This made the theme evident in a jiffy. I even found JEWELS in the grid, but it didn’t lead to jewelry or jewelstones or something of the sort, so I looked further.

Then, I stumbled upon AMETHYST and EMERALD, followed by TOPAZ to its left and GARNET even further in the leftmost column. This soon brought to light today’s Spangram JEWELTONES and it left me facepalming cause the color hint was right in today’s theme. Still, I did not use any hints, which is a win in my books.
