Answers for Today’s Connections Game (August 4)
Are you still stuck with the Connections puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- KIDDO – Buddy, Champ, Sport, Tiger
- UP FOR IT – Amenable, Down, Game, Willing
- BEGINNING WITH DOUBLE LETTERS – Aardvark, Eerie, Llama, Ooze
- NICKNAMES FOR THE SEA, WITH “THE” – Blue, Briny, Deep, Drink
The NYT Connections puzzle for August 4 was one wild mixture. I began with the Yellow category and as someone who loves to call people buddy, had the other ones in the bag too. The Green category came up next and besides the word Amenable which seemed weird in this setting, had all the words quickly enough.
The Blue category on the other hand was a bit stupid considering the connection. However, some equally stupid brainstorming helped me out here.
With only four words left, I got them all together to get the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for August 4.
