Today’s Connections Answers for August 11, 2025

Today’s NYT Connections puzzle was pretty easy to guess. I instantly made a connection between the words COUNT, MEASURE, VOLUME, and WEIGHT, thinking it would represent types of measurement. But it turned out to be SPECS ON A CONSUMER PACKAGING. Oh well!
The purple category was also easy to figure out, as I thought about dark matter and dark horse when I saw the words. The category that gave me trouble today was the green one, since I don’t associate the word MAROON with being abandoned.
