Connections Answer for March 31
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- TAKE A TUMBLE – Fall, Slip, Spill, Trip
- KINDS OF WATER – Mineral, Spring, Still, Tap
- THINGS THAT ARE CINCHED IN THE MIDDLE – Corset, Diabolo, Hourglass, Wasp
- _ _ _ BEAR – Boo-Boo, Brown, Honey, Teddy
While I did have some bad luck with the NYT Connections puzzle a few days back, I fared much better today. I began my journey by solving the Yellow category first. As someone very prone to stupid falls, it hardly took a minute to get all the words in the bag. See, sometimes, stupidity pays off!
The Green category came next. While I don’t really know the difference between Mineral and Spring water, combining the word Tap into it showed me the connection right away. The Blue category was a head-scratcher for sure. Thankfully, Corset and Hourglass showed me the way. After all, I’ve heard the term ‘Hourglass Figure’ plenty of times.
There were only four words left. I got them all together and solved the Purple category along with the NYT Connections puzzle for March 31.
