Connections Answer for April 9
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- BREADTH – Extend, Range, Reach, Scope
- HAIR TOOLS – Brush, Comb, Dryer, Iron
- HERALDRY TERMS – Arms, Coat, Crest, Shield

As I mentioned above, the NYT Connections puzzle today isn’t inherently difficult. With that, I began my journey with getting the Yellow category. I did have a similar category in my mind when I spotted Reach and Scope, so getting the rest was easy enough.
I then moved on to the Green category. I take super good care of my hair. Besides using the Iron, I use all the tools mentioned so getting it was again quite easy. I then chanced upon the Blue category by accident. I had initially thought of some winter things. However, then the words “Coat of Arms” popped up and the rest is history.
With that done, I only had four words left. I got them all together, along with the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for April 9.
