Connections Answer for April 3
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- BENCHMARK – Benchmark, Gauge, Standard, Yardstick
- POKER ACTIONS – Bet, Call, Check, Fold
- SKIN TYPES – Combination, Dry, Normal, Oily
- STARTS OF U.S States – Kent, Mary, Mass, Wash
Today, NYT Connections dabbles in a mixture of U.S. states and skin types. I began my journey by solving the Yellow category. After getting all the words that seemed like a Benchmark, I was surprised to find out the category was named just that.
I then moved on to the Green category and immediately understood the terms—not because I love to gamble, mind you, but because I’ve seen enough Casino movies. The Blue category came next, and to be honest, I wouldn’t have gotten it if not for the words Combination and Oily combined.
There were only four words left. I combined them all and solved the Purple category and the NYT Connections puzzle for April 3.
