Daffodill is a Break sub DPS in Neverness to Everness, making her a one-of-a-kind character among the current available roster. She is also one of the members of the Eibon Antique shop, making her quite important in the early part of the story. Due to her unique playstyle, you need to build Daffodill correctly in Neverness to Everness to see her full damage potential. Here is the NTE Daffodill build, including her teams, Arcs, and cartridges.

Neverness to Everness Daffodill Build

Daffodill is an A-tier DPS unit in our NTE tier list. Although she deals a fair amount of single-target damage, her unique playstyle limits her build options greatly. To get the best out of Daffodill in NTE, you will need to use the following build for her:

TypeInformation
ArcYouthful Fantasy
CartridgeDiabolos
Module StatsBreak Intensity > Crit DMG% > Crit Rate% > Chaos DMG% > Cycle Intensity
TeamDaffodill, Haniel, Baicang, Esper Zero

Daffodill’s real strength becomes active when you start building for her Break damage. This also significantly limits her alternative build options. We have explained her build in further detail below, so check it out to learn more. Other than that, grab NTE codes today, so that you don’t miss out on free Annuliths.

Daffodill Arcs (Weapons)

PriorityName
BestYouthful Fantasy
AlternativeShiny Days

Youthful Fantasy is the best Arc for Daffodill, and it is also her signature weapon in the game. You can obtain this weapon for free for Daffodill in NTE by finishing the The Book of Post-Adolescence commission in New Herland District. So, I don’t see any reason not to use it on Daffodill over other Arcs. When it comes to the effect, this Arc increases the Break Intensity of the character, while also increasing their Chaos DMG. This makes it perfect for a break character like Daffodill.

For alternatives, Shiny Days is a decent alternative as it also increases Break Intensity and buffs damage against broken enemies. However, there is no point in using this over Youthful Fantasy, as Youthful Fantasy is an F2P Arc in the game.

Daffodill Cartridges and Stats

Priority and StatName
BestDiabolos
AlternativeShadow Creed
StatsChaos DMG% > Break Intensity

Diabolos is the only viable cartridge for Daffodill in her build, and it is tailor-made for her kit in NTE. This cartridge increases the Chaos DMG by 10% while allowing the wearer to ignore 12% Chaos Resistance on enemies, with an additional 24% ignore after participating in Nova or Scorch reactions.

Shadow Creed is an alternative that you can use only if you don’t want to farm for Diabolos. This cartridge increases ATK%, which is not one of Daffodill’s main stats. If you want to play Daffodill against stronger enemies, you should only opt for Diabolos.

Daffodill Module Layout and Best Stats

TypeInformation
LayoutDaffodill Module layout
Bonus ModuleType III — Chaos DMG
Total Bonus40% Chaos DMG
Sub StatsBreak Intensity > Crit DMG% > Crit Rate% > Chaos DMG% > Cycle Intensity

As Diabolos is the only viable cartridge for Daffodill in NTE, you will need to use the module layout shown above to activate it. When it comes to bonus modules, I will recommend Type III with Chaos DMG. Try to hit a total of 40% Chaos DMG bonus on Daffodill to get the best out of her kit.

When it comes to stats, Break Intensity should be the main priority, followed by Crit DMG and Crit Rate. Then you can have equal shares of Chaos DMG% and Cycle Intensity, both being necessary for Daffodill.

NTE Daffodill Teams

DPSSub-DPSSupportSupport
BaicangDaffodillSakiriFadia
AureliaDaffodillHanielAdler
NanallyDaffodillSakiriEsper Zero

Daffodill’s entire playstyle is about using the Scorch and Nova reactions on a target to trigger the Discord reaction. To make this happen, you will need allies who can consistently trigger both reactions. As Daffodill is also a sub-DPS primarily, you also need a main DPS for her teams, alongside supports.

So, Baicang clearly becomes the best in-slot DPS unit for Daffodill. Pair them with Sakiri and Fadia, and you will be processing Discord reactions with absolutely zero problems. Other than them, Aurelia and Nanally can also be good DPS alternatives for Daffodill, alongside Haniel and Adler, who are good alternative supports. However, you will need to have Esper Zero in the team if you want to use Nanally as the main DPS.

Daffodill is an incredibly strong character in NTE, particularly shining against single-target enemies. Using Daffodill’s best build, you can easily destroy even the strongest units in the game.
