As Xiaomi starts rolling out the stable MIUI 10 builds in China, the Chinese giant has now made the latest MIUI 10 Global beta ROM to eligible device owners.
This update (build number 8.8.30) comes after a previous update was suspended due to some major issues. It brings along with a number of bug fixes and improvements in tow, especially a fix for the annoying double notification per message bug that affected most messaging apps including WhatsApp and Telegram among others.
This update also fixes several bugs in the native MIUI Security app, which previously did not display the complete text on Redmi Note 5 and created a shortcut to its ‘Cleaner’ app on the home screen each time it was used. The latter was an issue faced on each device running the previous beta.
Xiaomi has also fixed the navigation buttons, Russian translations in the File Manager, and added a shadow to numbers in the Calendar app on devices that were faced with the issues.
