Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released in 2026. CI games had previously revealed in an interview that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released on Epic Games Store on launch and won’t be available on Steam. Although that’s a bummer, the game is going to be released on both consoles and PC at the same time.

Lords of the Fallen, CI Games’ 2023 rebooted souls-like, had a mixed launch. After the game received a somewhat negative reaction initially, the developers decided to do a complete one-eighty to solve many of the issues with its 2.0 update. This helped them regain their reputation in the Souls community, leading to moderate success. Now, the developers have set their eyes on the next step by planning to launch a sequel.

Lords of the Fallen 2 was compared to “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back,” by CI Games in a recent interview. This is obviously a big ask, so hopefully the sequel actually stands by it. According to CI Games, the sequel is going to be bloody, bold, and brave, even going as far as to call it a ‘True Sequel’.
