Laramie in Yellowstone: Love Interest and Relationship with Lloyd
Laramie makes her debut in Yellowstone Season 3 episode 5 titled “Cowboys and Dreamers”. She was seen on screen as a barrel racer and as a friend of Mia (Jimmy Hurdstram’s girlfriend). When Mia moved to Yellowstone with her boyfriend, she asked Laramie to tag along with her and eventually, she got a job as a Ranch Hand at the Yellowstone Ranch.
Laramie was the one who defied the rule of “No women in the bunk house” and stayed there anyway. However, soon she realizes why the rule was in place when Lloyd and Walker fall into a love triangle around her and it eventually comes down to a fistfight between the two. As a result of the conflict, Lloyd early killed Walker. Following this incident, all women were evicted from the bunkhouse.
This conflict brings to light a very important point in the dynamic shared by the employees at the Yellowstone Ranch. Even though the dynamic of family and loyalty is enforced multiple times in the show, it does not take a lot for the Ranch Hands to turn against each other which has been proven to be problematic in almost every season of Yellowstone.
