Does Ghost of Yotei Have a New Game+ Mode?
Unfortunately, Ghost of Yotei doesn’t come with a New Game+ mode on launch. If you have finished your first playthrough by defeating all six members of Yotei Six and are looking to relive Atsu’s retribution in a new game plus mode, you will have to wait a little longer. Sucker Punch has not shared a word regarding the new game-plus mode in Ghost of Yotei at the time of writing.
So, if you have completed the main story, you must have noticed that the Onryo finally rests at the end of the game. However, as you continue playing after the credits roll, you will be taken back in time, i.e, before six months, and dropped back in Ezo.
Now, you get a chance to complete all the pending quests or discover all the new tales you might have missed in your first playthrough. Although the game doesn’t feature a new game+ mode right now, you can make use of this time to finish everything left in Feudal Japan.
When Is the Ghost of Yotei New Game Plus Releasing?
Sucker Punch has only disclosed the details about the new multiplayer Legends mode post-launch of the game. It took around three months for Ghost of Tsushima to receive a new game+ mode in the past. Based on this release schedule, we can anticipate that the Ghost of Yotei’s new game plus will be released in early 2026.
