All Hytale Weapons: Full List and How to Get Them

Hytale has a massive collection of weapons, so whether you are just a beginner carrying a few starter ores and trying to hunt some deer for food, or you’re an experienced explorer preparing to raid a dangerous structure beneath the overworld, there are tons of options for each one of you. There are fast daggers, heavy warhammers, crossbows, and so on that will support multiple playstyles. How Many Weapons Are There in Hytale

Hytale is currently in early access mode, and therefore, the total number of weapons has not been officially confirmed yet. It is actively undergoing development, releasing update patches that continue to bring out new content.

However, based on the available information and my experience with the in-game creative mode and online Hytale servers, there are approximately 38 weapons, including all material tiers such as Crude, Copper, Iron, Mithril, Onyxium, and more. Unless you’re enjoying it in creative mode or have installed some of the best Hytale mods, this is the exact number of weapons you can find in exploration mode.

All Weapons and Types in Hytale

Hytale weapons primarily fall into three categories, and those are melee, ranged, and magic. While most of the melee and ranged weapons work as intended in Hytale’s early access mode, the magical weapons don’t do so until now. This list will be updated soon with the stable updates. Until then, here are all the available weapons in the game:

Swords

The swords are well-balanced weapons for beginners as they deal consistent damage and have a decent attack speed, too. That said, here are all the swords in Hytale:

Ranged Weapons

The ranged weapons include shortbows and the iron hand crossbow. Unlike Minecraft, the crossbow in Hytale can store six arrows at a time and shoot them simultaneously instead of reloading continuously. That said, here are all the ranged weapons in Hytale:

How to Get Weapons in Hytale

The most reliable way to get weapons in Hytale is by crafting them. As you gather resources like wood, stone, copper, and more ores, you unlock stronger and better weapon tiers. We have provided the recipe for most of the weapons available in the game to make it easier for you to keep track of them.

Without a workbench, you can only craft crude weapons and tools. However, you can later shift to a basic workbench, the Blacksmith’s Anvil, and the Arcanist’s Workbench to get some magical weapons as well.

Other than crafting, you can get weapons from loot drops and by killing enemies. Defeating the enemies can drop their primary weapon. While exploring various dungeons or ruins, you can find some chests with rare loot, but it always comes with a risk factor, such as Hytale boss fights.

How to Repair Weapons in Hytale

Now, the weapons in Hytale aren’t permanent, and their durability decreases with every use. So, you can either choose to throw them away or fix them with a repair kit. You will require 2 Linen Scraps, 1 Iron Ingot, and 1 Light Leather to craft it.

Once you have the repair kit, equip the item and left-click on the screen to open its UI. Here you can view all your weapons and tools along with their durability on the right-hand side. Now, you can click on any of your worn-out weapons to repair them instantly.

However, this costs 1 repair kit, and the weapon or tool you used it on loses its total durability by 10%. It obviously is great to have some repair kits while you’re on an adventure or mining deep inside caves, but you will eventually need to craft new weapons in the long run.
