Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 introduced a whole new map for players to explore, with a ton of secrets to find. Among these is the Wishing Well in Fortnite, also called the Wishing Fountain. This quaint little attraction on the map is not only a pretty sight but also a source of some high-tier loot. This guide breaks down how you can utilise one of the most secretive landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3.
Fortnite Wishing Well Location on Map
You can find the Wishing Well (also called the Wishing Fountain) at the Sunken Shores POI on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map. The Wishing Well is located on the southeastern side of the POI, with the Sticks Restaurant sitting right across the landmark. However, once you find the Wishing Well, you will notice that there is no water flowing in the Well.
To make water flow in the Wishing Well and have a chance at claiming high-tier loot, you will have to go through a series of steps, which we will get to later in this article. That said, here is a map to help you mark the exact location of the Wishing Well on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map:
How to Activate the Wishing Well in Fortnite
You can activate the Wishing Well in Fortnite by repairing the water pumps and the water tower, and then spending 200 Gold Bars. The process to activate the Wishing Well is relatively straightforward, which includes:
- Head to the southwest corner of the Sunken Shores POI and find the water pumps.
- Interact with the water pumps by holding X/Square on your controller or E on your PC.
- Then, make your way to the southeast corner of the POI and locate the water tower.
- Interact with the water tower in the same way and repair it.
- Navigate back to the Wishing Well, and you will notice it has water running in it now.
- Walk up to the Wishing Well and interact with it to spend 200 Gold Bars to ‘Make a Wish.’
- Enjoy your loot.
Through the Wishing Well in Fortnite, you can find hard-to-come-by loot like Seven Sliders and Shock Rocks easily. However, the Wishing Well sadly does not spawn any Fortnite Sprites.
How to Complete Fortnite Week 7 Quest: Visit the Wishing Well
As part of the Week 7 set of quests in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, players are tasked with visiting the Wishing Well by Hope. She sadly reveals how she has been wishing for Jones to recover after Geno betrayed him during the Shattered live event. That said, to complete the Week 7 quest, you simply have to head to the Wishing Well or Wishing Fountain.
As soon as you reach the tiny landmark, your quest will be completed, granting you 12,000 XP for the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass. Remember, you do not need to activate the Wishing Well to complete this quest.
