Crimson Desert has a massive set of skills, abilities, and weapons for each character in the game. With the game relying on exploration for player progression, building different play-styles can become a chore if there were no option for respeccing skill points. Thankfully, there is a way to respec Crimson Desert skills, and I have given the steps on how to do it below.
Can You Respec Skills in Crimson Desert? Explained
Yes, Crimson Desert allows players to respect their entire skill tree. If you don’t like your current build, you can respec the entire Crimson Desert skill tree at any moment. This gives you complete freedom to choose the abilities you like, without punishing you if they are bad.
Go through the skills and put points into those that you would like to try out. If the build doesn’t work out in the end, you can always respec the points and build again. So, how to do it? I have explained that in the next section.
Crimson Desert Respec Skills Explained
Respeccing in Crimson Desert is very easy. The option is available by default when you open the Skill Tree in the game. Look at the controls mentioned at the bottom right corner to see an option for ‘Reset Stats’.
Pressing the button shown for the option will reset the Skill tree and return all your invested Abyss Artifacts. Now you can invest them again in the skills you like. I will suggest that you take a look at our best early Crimson Desert skills guide before you make your move.
Prerequisite for Respeccing Skill Tree in Crimson Desert
From what we have seen of the gameplay, it appears that you will need an item to respec the skill tree. What that item is yet unknown, but we see a silhouette of a faded artifact icon on the skill tree that is not used to enhance the skills.
This means it has a high possibility of being used as a respeccing currency in the game. Other than that, there shouldn’t be more requisites to respec your Crimson Desert character. Once the game officially releases, we will add more information about how to respec and the prerequisites for it.
