Sand is commonly found near the coastline, beaches, and at the riverbanks, but you can get an abundance of sand blocks at the Badlands biome. The badlands biome is located far south on the map and has a yellowish color, as shown below.
Now, to locate sand easily, look out for the pale yellow colored areas on your map. Note that you will find a similar yellow color near the river banks, but its saturation will be lower because they’re the sandstone blocks and not real sand. Once you find the real blocks, break them with your hands, pickaxe, or shovel to get them.
How to Make Glass Bottles in Hytale
After gathering sand, it’s time to get back to your base and use the furnace. A furnace can be easily made using logs and stone blocks. Having done that, follow the steps below to make glass in Hytale:
- Interact with the furnace by pressing the F key.
- Place any fuel, such as tree logs or tree sap, on the leftmost cell.
- Place the sand blocks on the middle cell and turn on the furnace.
