- The primary way to increase your inventory space in Crimson Desert is to obtain various inventory bags.
- Inventory bags are available in three sizes: small (+1 slot), medium (+3 slots), and large (+5 slots).
- Players can obtain the bags either by doing quests or buying them from the vendors in Pywel.
Pearly Abyss’ Crimson Desert features a vast open world where you can explore the nooks and crannies of the Pywell continent to uncover its secrets. Thus, there is a variety of items to collect from weapons, costumes, gears, consumables, etc., once you kick off your adventures as the Greymane warrior, Kliff Macduff. Now, Crimson Desert doesn’t grant players unlimited inventory space. You have to work your way up and expand your inventory to get more slots. Now you don’t have to worry about how to increase your inventory slots, as we have created a dedicated guide on how to increase Crimson Desert Inventory here.
Crimson Desert: How to Increase Your Inventory Slot?
Expanding the inventory slots in Crimson Desert seems to have been inspired by the Korok Seeds mechanic from the Zelda games and Pearl Abyss’ very own MMORPG title, Black Desert Online. In Crimson Desert, you need to collect ‘Inventory Bags’ to increase your inventory slots, and the bags come in three different forms, namely small, medium, and large bags. The small bag adds one extra slot, the medium bag offers three extra slots, and the large bag unlocks five additional inventory slots.
You start with 50 inventory slots at the beginning of the game, and here is where you can find the bags in the game to increase your inventory slots fast:
Through Quest Rewards
Well, the good news is that you can get these various inventory bags as rewards for completing both main and side quests. Under the Faction Quests tab in the Journal menu, you can find all the Crimson Desert quests that reward you with the specific inventory bag, i.e., small, medium, or large bags. Pearly Abyss has found a way to incentivize players to meet new NPCs, do more quests, and receive satisfying rewards. So, remember to keep helping townsfolk everywhere you go to enlarge your inventory.
Purchasing Inventory Bags from Equipment Shops
Another way to increase your inventory size is to buy inventory bags from shopkeepers residing in many regions of the Crimson Desert map. The bag starts at 50 copper coins, and the cost goes up for medium and large bags. Now, this is the most efficient way to actively expand your inventory space in case you don’t want to repeatedly complete quests just for the sake of obtaining bag rewards.
And these are the only two ways currently known to expand your inventory size without any hassle. So make sure to maximize your inventory slots to keep storing and carrying all your valuable items. Thankfully, the inventory isn’t affected by the item weights.
Having said that, do you like Pearl Abyss’s approach to the inventory system and management, which is very reminiscent of their previous title, Black Desert Online? Let us know in the comments below.
