Quickly Switch Helmets in Crimson Desert

Although Crimson Desert doesn’t allow you to hide your helmet, it has a nifty mechanic that lets you quickly swap your armor. This mechanic is implemented through the quick action bar, where you can also swap your Crimson Desert weapons and tools. This saves a ton of time that would have been taken to open your inventory and swap the weapons or armors. So, here is how you can quickly switch helmets in Crimson Desert:

  • Press the F2 key on your keyboard to open the quick menu.
  • Click on the Armor option and move your cursor to the helmet slot.
  • Rotate the middle mouse scroller on the helmet slot to change the helmet.
  • You can change to a nice-looking hat or keep it unequipped.

So, when you are not in a fight, quickly switch your helmet to something nice, or leave the slot empty to not block your face. When a fight does begin, swap your helmet to the stronger one to get the defensive stat in battle. That’s it. Now you know whether Crimson Desert supports hiding helmets in the game or not.
