How to Get Venus Fly Trap in Grow a Garden
The only way to get Venus flytrap seeds in Grow a Garden is through the Basic and Premium Seed Packs obtainable from Jim, the angry plant. As you launch the game, you’ll notice a big Venus fly trap at the center wiggling its open jaws. Move close to it, but don’t worry, it won’t bite.
Interact with Jim by pressing the ‘E‘ key, and a dialogue will open up where it asks you to feed it certain fruits, vegetables, or flowers. So, now if you comply with the conditions and bring it precisely what it needs, it’ll gobble up the plant and throw up a Basic Seed pack each time.
The Basic Seed Pack has a very low chance, about 0.01%, of dropping a Venus fly trap Seed, so it can take several tries before you finally get it. However, after feeding Jim about 50 times, you will receive one Premium Seed Pack that has a 1% chance of dropping the fly trap seed.
Furthermore, there is an alternative way as well. Beside Jim, you’ll see a Premium Seed Chest, and interacting with it opens up a pop-up window where you can buy 1, 3, or 10x Premium Seed Packs for 199, 575, 1699 Robux, respectively.
Do note that you can plant only a single Venus fly trap in your Garden. Since it’s a multi-harvest crop like the grape seed, it’s worth completing the tasks and aiming to get the seeds, as each harvest can sell for 15,000 Sheckles. Although it’s not yet applicable for the Shocked mutation, the Gold, Rainbow, Wet, and other mutations can help you earn some extra cash, too.
