How to Get Rod of Time in Fisch

While you were busy preparing for the next major update in Fisch, there are some brand new tasks and quests that you can look forward to with the new cursed event. A new rod makes its way into the game called the Rod of Time. Packing decent enough stats, the new rod is one you might want to get. However, obtaining it is no easy task, as it will test your patience to the core. So, if you want to know how, then keep reading as we show you how to get the Rod of Time in Fisch.

How to Get the Rod of Time in Fisch

The method to get the Rod of Time in Fisch is pretty straightforward. However, it will only take a bit of your time (pun intended). So, as you enter the game after the update, you will notice the small stone structure located northeast of Moosewood has received a bit of a revamp. If you’re still confused, get a GPS in Fisch and head to the following coordinates: X=245, Y=136, Z=53.

There is a new Fisch AFK Mine on the structure where you can mine for items whenever you’re not playing the game. To its left is the Rod of Time, while to its right is the Hourglass Boat. Both are grayed out and translucent. This is because you actually have to craft them using five unique materials for each. As such, you will require the following materials to craft the Rod of Time:

• Timeless Threading
• 1000-Year Old Wood
• Ethereal Glass
• Sand of Time
• Mythical Essence

Thankfully, all of these items can be obtained from the AFK chamber itself. So you don’t need to put any effort into exploring various islands or fishing anywhere using all combinations of the best rods and all Fisch baits.

So, once you get all the items as rewards from the chamber, leave the mine and place all of them on the translucent rod by equipping each item and then holding the ‘E‘ key. The mechanic is very similar to that of building a Submarine in Fisch. Once done, you will automatically get the Rod of Time.

To be very honest with you all, The Rod of Time in Fisch has very bland stats. However, looking at Fisch’s past updates, where fishing rods were first released and then given a nice buff, we can all hope that this one receives a similar change. With that said, here are the stats of the rod:

• Lure Speed: 20%
• Luck: 25%
• Control: 0.05
• Resilience: 20%
• Max Kg: 2500kg

As you can see, the rod looks pretty basic now, and it doesn’t have any passives. However, leaving the game at AFK can earn you some pretty cool titles and cash, so why not craft this rod since it doesn’t cost anything or require any effort?

Best Enchants for the Rod of Time

Now that you have crafted the Rod of Time, you might be thinking of enchanting it. But take time to rethink whether your expensive relics will be worth the shot. The reason is its basic stats with no passive ability at all. Even if you try boosting up one thing, all other stats will drag down your performance.

However, if you have a lot of relics and are simply looking to experiment with different things, try using the Quality enchantment on the rod to boost the overall stats. Alternatively, you can consider using Immortal with Instant Catcher baits, but the overall resilience will come down to just 5%.
