The XMAS update in The Forge introduced us to the third island of the game, and with that came the superhero of Pickaxes. The Prismatic Pickaxe, introduced in the latest update, is one of the best Pickaxes in the game. However, it is locked behind an iceberg in a hidden area. And getting inside can be a lot more difficult than you think. In this guide, we have mentioned how you can obtain the Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge and whether it’s worth buying or not.

How to Obtain Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge

The Prismatic Pickaxe can be found in a secret area of The Forge third island. It is hidden behind an iceberg and can be purchased for $2,000,000.

To get to Frostspire Expanse, you first need to reach level 70. Then, only you can unlock it using the Portal Tool. Once you’re in there, turn left from the spawn point and run straight until you find a frozen lake. You’ll notice that there’s a hole near a chair, as if someone was fishing. Dive down the hole by jumping into it. Congratulations, as now you’ve reached the secret chamber, which has the Prismatic Pickaxe. Now comes the real challenge.

How to Break the Iceberg in The Forge

The Prismatic Pickaxe is locked behind the iceberg, which can be broken by using a Pickaxe of at least 420 mining power. There are only three Pickaxes in The Forge that can break the iceberg: the Christmas Pickaxe, Frost Pickaxe, and Void Pickaxe. The Christmas Pickaxe is the second-best one in the game, with a 550 mining power. You can obtain it from the Christmas Store.

However, if you want a direct upgrade and don’t want to farm for the Christmas Pickaxe, then we recommend the Frost Pickaxe. It has a mining power of 420, and can break the iceberg without any restrictions. But that can only be purchased after completing Sensei Moro’s quest 7. On the other hand, you can try using the Frost Pickaxe or the Void Pickaxe, but we suggest that you save as much money as possible.

Mining the iceberg can be exhausting. The Forge iceberg health is more than any other rock in the game. So, we suggest you use a miner potion and a totem to do it faster. Once you’re on the opposite side, you need $2,000,000 money to purchase the Prismatic Pickaxe.
