In this vast library of crossovers, the Fortnite Overwatch collab has been one of the most demanded collabs among players. If the new leaks are to be believed, this long-awaited crossover could finally become a reality in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming collaboration so far.
When Does Fortnite Overwatch Collab Release?
The Fortnite Overwatch collab will release in the first two weeks of May 2026. The collaboration was originally slated for launch alongside the release of the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass. While this date has not been confirmed by Epic Games yet, the recent leaks and the release of the Fortnite Showdown roadmap suggest that the Overwatch characters could be part of Act 3 of the season.
Fortnite Overwatch Collab Expected Skins and Prices
Overwatch has a library of some of the most memorable characters in shooter games, and players will be excited to know that, according to leaks from ShiinaBR, the Fortnite Overwatch collab will feature 4 different characters. The leaks have confirmed that these 4 Overwatch characters will be:
- Tracer
- D.Va
- Genji
- Mercy

Tracer is easily the most exciting skin from the list of Fortnite Overwatch collab skins, as she is the face of the Overwatch franchise. Players can expect Tracer to feature multiple styles, possibly both her Overwatch 1 and Overwatch 2 looks, alongside her iconic Pulse Bomb as a back bling.
D.Va, on the other hand, could be one of the more interesting Fortnite skins added in recent times. For those who don’t know, D.Va pilots her own mech in Overwatch, and if Epic Games were to implement the mech into Fortnite somehow, it could end up as one of the coolest and most unique cosmetics yet. Epic could take the Fortnite Overwatch collab to the next level and maybe even bring in D.Va’s mech as a vehicle in Chapter 7.
Similarly, Genji is expected to feature his iconic library of weapons, such as pickaxes and/or back blings, alongside selectable styles for both his Overwatch 1 and Overwatch 2 looks. His glowing green Katana could even feature unique pickaxe animations to set it apart from other sword pickaxes. Mercy, on the other hand, is likely to feature her Valkyrie Wings as a glider while her iconic Caduceus Staff is expected to be her pickaxe of choice.
As with previous gaming legends skins, each Overwatch skin is expected to be priced around 1,500 – 1,800 V-Bucks. Since the collab will feature 4 characters, at least 3 of these new skins might be packaged into their own Hero bundles for around 2,200 – 2,600 V-Bucks in the Fortnite Item Shop. Finally, players can also expect an Overwatch mega bundle that includes all skins and is priced around 4,500 – 5,500 V-Bucks.
