Epic Games is doubling down on Fortnite collabs this year, as Chapter 7 Season 1 has already seen a wide range of pop culture brands make their way to the Battle Royale island. Now the devs have revealed plans to bring 100+ gaming legends skins each year, and it seems like the plan is already in motion.
After being teased in a social media post by Epic, miHoYo has revealed the first look at the Honkai Star Rail characters that are set to join Fortnite. While the info initially came as a surprise to a lot of players, many have been waiting for what could be one of the best Fortnite collaborations in 2026. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming crossover, including the skins players can expect to see.
When Does Fortnite Honkai Star Rail Crossover Release?
The HSR skins will release in Fortnite on February 26, 2026. While they were previously speculated to be added with the Fortnite 39.40 update, the developers of Honkai Star Rail have since confirmed this release date for the Fortnite crossover.
Fortnite HSR Crossover Skins and Prices
The Fortnite HSR collab will focus on Kafka and Blade, two of the most beloved Honkai Star Rail characters. Kafka will be the headliner, as signified by her signature purple-hued katana, accompanied by Blade, wielding his Shattered Blade. According to reports, the Fortnite HSR collab will feature two bundles, one of each character.
Here is a full list of all of the cosmetics that could be included in both the Kafka and Blade bundles in the Fortnite Item Shop:
- Kafka skin – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Blade skin – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Scarlet Katana pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- Shattered Blade pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
- 2 Honkai Star Rail-themed back blings
- 2 Honkai Star Rail-themed emotes
The Kafka skin could come packaged with a built-in emote based on her “Spirit Whisper” ability. The other skin will be Blade, who might feature a possible “Mara Struck” reactive style that will activate as he gets more kills. The bundles for both of these new Fortnite HSR skins are expected to cost around 2,500 V-Bucks in the Item Shop.
Are There Any Fortnite HSR Mythics Coming to Battle Royale?
No, as of now, Epic has not revealed any information about Honkai Star Rail Mythics being added to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 loot pool. However, it is possible that Kafka and Blade’s swords, as seen in the teaser, are turned into Mythic weapons when the collab releases. These new Mythics may be introduced as reskins of the Forsaken Vow Blade or maybe even something new entirely.
Additionally, Epic could also relegate the Honkai Star Rail Mythics to the Blitz Royale mode. This would not only add a fresh vibe to the Blitz Royale mode but could also introduce special quests and rewards exclusive to the Blitz Royale mode, much like the Fortnite Bleach Blitz quests from December 2025.
