The cute yet profitable Bee Swarm update in Grow a Garden is finally here. The update brings forth a variety of new additions, including a new honey shop that houses a lot of items. Like its name, this shop will need honey, a temporary currency for players to buy items. But like Sheckles, you need to grind the heck out of the game to get it. Want to make honey fast? How to Get Honey Fast in Grow a Garden
As you might have already noticed, the change at the center of the platform, where all the events take place in Grow a Garden, a new family of Bees has spawned, with their Queen at the center. You will find a small Worker Bee NPC with a Honey Combpressor on her right. This is all part of the new Grow a Garden Bee Swarm event.
Here, you must deposit 10kg of fruits with the pollinated mutation to get 10 Honey. However, you must wait 3 minutes for it to process. While you cannot speed up this timer, there are ways you can maximize your chances of getting this new mutation so you can make honey fast in Grow a Garden.
1. Place Plants That Grow Heavy Fruits
The first step is to plant only those plants in your garden that produce the heaviest fruits. Make sure you plant a combination of both single- and multiple-harvest crops in your garden, since using only the former can be slightly less efficient.
Placing heavy fruits can help you fill up the weight limit by using a single fruit sometimes. Therefore, you can consider using the following plants:
- Bamboo: Found in the Seed Shop
- Moon Melon: Found in the Blood Moon Shop
- Beanstalk: Found in the Seed Shop
- Purple Dahlia: Found in the Flower Seed Pack
- Starfruit: Found in the Night Seed Pack
2. Fill Your Garden With Bees
The next best way is to use all three of your pet slots by placing the variants of bees introduced in the latest Bizzy Bees update of Grow a Garden. Except for the Bear Bee, all three other have a guaranteed chance of applying the pollinated mutation in a few seconds.
This way, you only need to invest in buying the bee eggs from the Honey Shop in Grow a Garden. Once you get the following pets, pollinated mutation will be applied to most of the plants in no time:
- Bee: Applies the Pollinated mutation to random fruits in 25 minutes.
- Petal Bee: Applies the Pollinated mutations in 25 minutes, and has a slight chance of retaining Flower type fruits
- Honey Bee: Applies the Pollinated mutations in 20 minutes.
