Epic Games is continuing its ongoing partnership with Disney, bringing Pixar’s beloved culinary masterpiece, Ratatouille, into the loop. Players can now claim Fortnite Ratatouille collab items without spending any V-Bucks. However, the method for unlocking these items is different than usual. Wondering what these methods are? How to Get Free Ratatouille Collab Items in Fortnite
You can unlock the Fortnite Ratatouille collab car cosmetics by completing specific challenges in the limited-time Ratatouille event. However, just like the recent Fortnite Dueling Dragons Jackie skin, the challenges for these Ratatouille items are available in Rocket League rather than Battle Royale. There is a whole set of Ratatouille challenges available in Rocket League, with each coming with its own rewards.
However, among all the rewards, only two Ratatouille collab items are eligible for cross-ownership between Rocket League and Fortnite. Here are the specific quests that you need to complete for the Ratatouille vehicle cosmetics:
- Get 10 Goals in Online Matches – Ratatouille Wheels
- Score at least 372 Points in 5 Online Matches – Octane Little Chef Decal
Once you complete these quests, you will receive the Ratatouille collab items in your Fortnite locker. You just need to make sure that you have the same Epic Games account linked to both Rocket League and Fortnite. While there are no free Fortnite skins in the rewards, the items you can get allow you to modify your vehicles with themes from the beloved Pixar movie.
If you are worried about the Ratatouille collab items becoming useless after the Fortnite Mode Shutdowns in 2026, don’t worry! All vehicle skins and items in your locker will still remain usable in Battle Royale, allowing you to modify your vehicles’ look while you chase that Victory Royale.
According to in-game data and the official Rocket League blog, the Fortnite Ratatouille collab items will only be available to claim until June 1, 2026. This means players have about 2 weeks’ worth of time to complete the challenges and claim their free cosmetics.
How to Get Ratatouille Collab Items in Fortnite Item Shop
Apart from the free Rocket League cosmetics, Epic Games has also added Ratatouille collab items to the Fortnite Item Shop. While there is no Remy Fortnite Sidekick, Epic has added even more vehicle customization options for players to purchase. Here are the steps you can follow to get the Ratatouille collab items in the Item Shop:
- Head to the Fortnite Item Shop through the top bar in the main lobby.
- Using the sidebar, navigate to the Ratatouille subsection under the Start Your Engines section of the store.
- Here, click on the Ratatouille cosmetics you want to purchase.
- Press and hold the Purchase button to add it to your library.
There are only two Ratatouille collab items that are available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop. Here is a breakdown of each item and what they cost:
