How to Get LEGO Fortnite Rat Skin KD Rattical
You can get the KD Rattical skin (also known as the Fortnite Rat skin) by purchasing the Soaring Skies LEGO Pass, added with the 40.20 update, alongside the free-to-play transition of Save the World. Unlike standard Item Shop skins, the KD Rattical skin is tied to the progression of this specific seasonal LEGO pass.
Given below are the steps you can follow to get the KD Rattical skin in Fortnite:
- From the main Fortnite lobby, head to the Passes section in the top bar.
- Here, scroll down from the main Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass screen to reach the menu with other passes.
- In this menu, select the LEGO Pass and click on the ‘Get LEGO Pass’ button.
- Purchase the LEGO Soaring Skies Pass for 1,200 V-Bucks.
- Progress to the last reward on Page 3 of the LEGO Pass to unlock the KD Rattical skin.
Remember that you won’t get the Fortnite Rat skin immediately after purchasing the LEGO Pass. You will need to earn XP to progress through the LEGO Pass and claim the skin. Thankfully, the XP you earn in other modes like Battle Royale and Fortnite Festival also count towards your progression in the LEGO Pass.
Once you earn enough XP to unlock the skin, you will be granted not just the KD Rattical skin but also a selectable LEGO style you can use across LEGO Odyssey and all UEFN islands. Keep in mind that the LEGO Soaring Skies Pass is available till September 12, 2026, so you need to claim the KD Rattical skin before the pass expires.
Will the LEGO Fortnite KD Rattical Skin Be in the Item Shop?
Yes, there is a high chance that the KD Rattical skin comes to the Fortnite Item Shop later down the line. Epic has stated that items from LEGO Passes are not exclusive to the season in which they appear.
Much like other Fortnite skins, it is expected to be priced around 1,500 V-Bucks when it comes to the shop.
