How to Get Copper in Subnautica 2

Copper can be found in coral enclaves and caves in Subnautica 2. You will find copper attached to the enclave and cave walls in the game.

They are pretty common in the early exploration areas, but a bit hard to spot. Later in the game, you can come across copper deposits protruding from the ground. Then, you will require Sonic Resonator to mine copper.

One thing to note is that copper deposits are randomly generated, and you are not guaranteed to find them in every cave or coral enclave. However, these locations have a greater chance of copper spawns, especially in the early game in Subnautica 2.

Best Early Game Copper Locations in Subnautica 2

If you have just started playing, you can easily find copper by going down from the pod. Here, you will soon come across some coral enclaves.

Enter the enclaves and check the undersides of the walls, as it’s the best place to find copper. You should see copper hanging from the walls here.

Once you have collected them, look for the opening in the ground to find a deeper cave. In the cave, you should find copper stuck to the walls. These two early locations are ideal to satisfy your copper needs in the early game.
