- Outfits or 'Garbs' in Elden Ring Nightreign are cosmetic items that can change your character's appearance, but they offer no attributes or stat bonuses.
- To change your skins, you'll have to complete two expeditions, and then interact with the 'Change Garb' mirror kept in the east wing of Roundtable Hold.
- New skins can be purchased by spending Murk, a new currency that is rewarded to players at the end of every expedition.
Elden Ring Nightreign features all the souls drip any player could ask for. From iconic vestments to new gothic attire, the in-game fashion is as immaculate as ever. That said, the outfits you equip provide no bonuses or resistances whatsoever, meaning they’re entirely cosmetic. On top of this, you can’t change your garb until you complete a few gruelling tasks as well. So if you’re looking to learn more, check out our guide on how to change skins in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How to Change Skins
To change skins in Nightreign, you must complete two expeditions first. This means that you’ll need to vanquish Gladius (the final boss of the Tricephalos expedition), alongside another Nightlord of your choosing. Needless to say, these requirements are easier said than done, but there’s unfortunately no way around it.

After two of the Elden Ring Nightreign Nightlords are down, the Roundtable Hold’s caretaker, Iron Menial, will inform you of a new mirror that he’s set up in the east wing. To get here, take the door on the right after spawning in the hold, and head straight towards the adjoining corridor.
Inside, you’ll be able to spot the mirror, and interacting with it brings up the ‘Change Garb’ menu. If you’re struggling to find it, bring up the map, hover over the east wing, and eventually, you’ll highlight its icon.
How to Get New Skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

As a roguelite, almost everything you acquire in Limveld is not permanent progression. So to unlock new outfits, you’ll need to open up the Change Garb menu and purchase new skins using Murk. This brand-new currency is given to players at the end of each expedition, so you’ll need to grind quite a bit to amass enough Murk for a new outfit.
Furthermore, each character’s unique outfits are locked behind the Remembrance chapters. Check out our dedicated Remembrance Mode guide to learn more. The last two purchasable skins for every character can only be acquired after you defeat the final boss during the Night Aspect expedition.
