Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released worldwide on October 31, 2024, across PC, PS5, and Xbox platforms. However, the exact release time will depend on your location. Players in regions closer to the International Date Line can expect the game to launch on November 1, 2024. Below are the official timings for all areas:
- NA West: 9:00 AM PDT
- NA East: 12:00 PM EDT
- Brazil: 1:00 PM BRT
- Europe: 5:00 PM CET
- India: 9:30 PM IST
- China: 11:00 PM UTC+7
- Japan: 1:00 AM JST (November 1)

Before you check your preload’s timing, ensure you have at least 100 GB of storage prepared. While we still do not have the exact game size, Dragon Age Veilguard’s official specs say, you must have 100 GB on your SSD.
How to Preload The Veilguard on Xbox Series X/S
Dragon Age Veilguard players can already preload the game on Xbox Series X and S. The preload option for Xbox was opened on October 14th, 9:00 AM PDT. You can preload the game from your library once you have claimed the game from your Xbox store.
How to Preload The Veilguard on PS5
The PlayStation 5 players waiting for Veilguard must wait a little longer till the preload option is available for them. PS5 players can preload Dragon Age Veilguard on October 29th, 9:00 AM PDT. To preload the game on PS5, you must get it from PS Store. Once you do that, you will see the game in your library and must simply select the preload button.
How to Preload The Veilguard on PC
Unfortunately, there is no preload option for players on PC. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be DRM-free (such as Denuvo) on all platforms. Due to this, PC players will not have a preload option. This is disheartening as many PC players kept Veilguard as one of their highly anticipated must-try from the 2024 games schedule.
