To heal in Dead Rails, you can opt for three methods: Bandages, Snake Oil, and Vampire Knife. All these possible healing options will help you recover from deadly zombie or other monster attacks. Keep reading to learn how to heal in Dead Rails:
1. Bandages
Bandages in Dead Rails are cheap and heal a portion of your health immediately. To get Bandages, go to the Doctor building and purchase it for $10 in-game cash. Hold the Heal button (left mouse button) when you have it in your hand to use Bandages in Dead Rails. You can also find them by slaying zombies or looting houses in certain villages.
2. Snake Oil
Just like the Bandages, you can also find Snake Oil in the Doctor’s building. However, it will cost $35 in-game cash. So, make sure you use it with precaution. Snake Oil instantly heals your full HP, even if you are in one HP. To use the snake oil in Dead Rails, equip it with your inventory and hold the Heal button (left mouse button).
3. Vampire Knife
While the healing items are easy to purchase and use, there is only one item you can obtain in Dead Rails. To get the Vampire Knife in Dead Rails, you must finish the 38,500-meter mark to get to the castle.
Once you start looting the castle, you will find the knife in the coffin on the top floor. The knife only heals you when you attack a zombie. Yes, it works like a life-steal item.
How to Revive Teammates in Dead Rails
While healing yourself is a great way to keep fighting the horde of zombies, not all your teammates can keep up all the time. You can revive teammates and bring them back to life for more fights. To revive teammates in Dead Rails, you will have to use the Bandages when looking at your teammate’s corpse. Once you are looking at the fallen corpse of your teammate, equip the Bandages in your hand and hold the Heal button (left-click mouse).
The revive option always comes in handy, especially when finding the Dead Rails bank codes or castle. Just make sure your teammate is not going offline after their death. Otherwise, your bandages will go to waste. You can self-revive in the game as well. However, that requires Robux investment.
