Items Required to Get Rod of the Depths
The Rod of the Depths is an end-game rod and requires a lot of resources, forcing you to spend thousands of in-game cash. Let’s have a look at all the items you need to have before heading to get this epic rod.
- The Depths Key
- A Hexed Enchanted Relic
- An Abyssal Enchanted Relic
- 750,000 In-game cash for the Rod.
Firstly, get two Enchanted Relics either from Merlin or through fishing and take them to the Appraiser in Moosewood. Now, get one of their value appraised to Abyssal and the other to Hexed form by paying 450 cash for each. You might need to repeat the process as it is not a guaranteed to get the desired result on a couple of tries.
Secondly, to get the Depths Key, you need to fish in the Vertigo Bestiary. The Vertigo is easily accessible by jumping into the Strange Whirlpool that spawns every 10-15 minutes. Thankfully, we have already helped you by showing how to get the Depths key in Fisch.

How to Get the Rod of the Depths in Fisch
Having collected all the required items, its time to head for the Rod of the Depths. To get this rod follow the given steps:
Reach The Depths
- Jump into the Strange Whirlpool to access the Vertigo area. Now, head straight and jump into the pit in front of the NPC named Synth.
- Upon reaching the very bottom of the pit, look to your left and you’ll notice some red stones. Climb these stones to reach the huge door with a keyhole symbol.
- There will be a ghastly NPC, named The Keeper sitting beside the door. Interact and give him your Depths Key to open the gates.
- As the door opens, there will be a minigame waiting for you, where you need to reach the next platform by jumping on the floating stones. Be aware as these stones are going to fall after a few seconds as you step on them.
- Once you get on the next platform, head straight through the narrow passage to enter The Depths.
Place the Enchanted Relics
- Having entered the Depths, cross the water to reach the Merchant in this area. Take the right from the Merchant and go straight till you find the King’s Statue and an NPC, Aspicientis under it.
- Below Aspicientis, you will see a Blue Pedestal containing a blue colored liquid. Place your Abyssal Enchanted Relic on this pedestal.
- Having done so, look behind you and you will notice an upward waterfall. Swim up the waterfall and land over the first ledge on your left.
- Follow this pathway to reach a Red Pedestal containing red colored liquid. Placing your Hexed Enchanted Relic on this pedestal will start a rumbling sound followed by unlocking the path to a maze.
- The path to the maze will open just in front of the upward waterfall. I recommended you equip the Advanced Diving Gear, Super Flippers, and have the Tide Breaker in your hotbar.
Complete the Maze and Claim the Rod of the Depths
Warning: Ensure you don’t die during the maze else you will have to start all over again.
- Jump down the opening of the pit in front of the waterfall and reach the very bottom.
- Go straight through the narrow passage beside the red stone and take the right path where you will a couple of red stones and one blue stone on the walls.
- Keep swimming and take a left turn as you reach the end of the path where you will notice a horizontal green stone on top.
- Take the first right turn from this location and you will notice a vertical green stone at the end.
- Cross the small open area and take a right from the red stone ahead of you. Ensure that you are keeping to your right and then follow the path to reach another narrow passage.
- Cross the passage and keep swimming till you reach the blue stone at the end. Finally take a left turn and keep heading straight.
- Once you reach the end, swim up to the surface. The Rods of the Depths will be right in front of your eyes held by the King’s Statue.
- Go up to the rod, press ‘E‘, then the Yes option to claim the Rods of the Depths for 750,000 cash.
