While it hides many secrets, you need to a special Depths Key to enter it! Don’t be mistaken as it can be hard to get it. Well, we decided to help you out. Fisch Depths Key Location
The Depths Key can be found by fishing in the Vertigo Bestiary. However, it is not specific to any region, time, weather, or season. Do note that the Depths Key generates randomly, so it will completely depend on your luck.
To reach the Vertigo, you need to spot a Strange Whirlpool that generates randomly in the game every 10-15 minutes. Be alert at all times because the moment you see the message on top of your screen stating a strange whirlpool has opened, rush to the ocean with your fastest boat.
Locating this particular whirlpool might get tiresome as it spawns on a random point and you won’t have any clue to begin with. The only option left with you is to roam around the ocean till you spot a swirl of line aura generating form the surface of the ocean. This is your target and any other whirlpool will cause instant death.
Consider increasing your graphics to the maximum point for a clearer and better visibility. Finally, jump into the whirlpool to start a short cutscene leading you to the Vertigo.
How to Get the Depths Key in Fisch
Once you are inside Vertigo, head straight where you will see Synth, the NPC on your right. Jump into the pit in front of Synth and get on top of a rock or a stable surface. Fishing in this location will give you a chance at obtaining the Depths Key.
The Depths Key is an extremely rare Legendary item and once it gets attached to your rod, a yellow exclamation sign will appear over your head. Now, skillfully balance the white bar with the fish cursor as it is going to move frantically.
It is highly recommended to bring a fishing rod with high resilience such as the King’s Rod. The Trident Rod enchanted with Resilient can also be a very good option due to its increased luck. Another way of approaching this quest is by using a Rapid Rod enchanted with Divine or Resilient to make the catching process much faster.
Once you get this key, it will open the new area known as The Depths. You would spot some red stones near the pit. Climbing these stones will lead you to the big red and black colored door and a ghastly NPC, called The Keeper sitting beside it. Interact with the Keeper to get access to what lies behind the door
